Q: How do I load my heavy photo or video equipent into Loft 3 Studio?
A: You have access to our 10’x20’ freight elevator for your use while you are renting the studio. The elevator opens up directly into the studio.
Q: Can I hang lighting gear from the ceiling tracks in Loft 3 Studio?
A: Yes, you can use our ceiling mounted tracks that allow you to hang lights directlyin the ceiling. One of the best uses for this is the center post in the ceiling that allows you to put a light directly above your talent as a top or hair light.
Q: Does the Loft 3 Studio have a wardrobe area?
A: Yes, we have a wardrobe area including racks, steamers, and ironing board for your styling team to use.
Q: Do you include any tables and chairs with the rental?
A: Yes, we include up to 6 - 6’ tables and up to 20 white folding chairs included in the rental.
Q: Is there a makeup station included in the rental?
A: Yes, we have a 6’ professional makeup station available for your use in the Loft 3 Studio.

Q: Is the Studio Private?
A: A: Yes! Loft 3 is a private photo and video studio rental in NYC. Our small on-site team is available only to assist with the elevator and support your production needs. The space is designed to ensure client comfort and complete privacy throughout your rental.

VIDEO PODCASTING
Video Podcasting has become very important in social media. Here at Hudson Yards Loft Studio, we have designed our Loft 3 Cyc Studio to be a good venue for sound recording. We have put 1/2” plexiglass in the windows to remove the street noise so you have good sound. For lighting in this studio, we have mounts in the ceiling that our clients can use, such as the Aputure 600D combined with the Lantern that mounts in the center of the Cyclorama. That can light a 2 person set all on it’s own. We have gaffers, Directors of Photography, grips, hair, makeup, and wardrobe stylists that can help in your productions. If you need crew assistance, we can help with your shoot.
